Terms of Conditions

Agreement

By creating an account or using Zog at zog.watch, you agree to these Terms of Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Zog provides prepaid object storage for uploading, managing, and sharing files. Storage is priced at $1 per 100 GiB per month for paid capacity, with a free tier as described on the Pricing page. Features may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You may sign in with email/password or supported social providers (such as Discord).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.

Your content

You retain ownership of files you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service (including generating download URLs and honor share links you create).

You must have the rights to upload and share your content. You must not upload or share illegal material, malware, content that infringes others’ rights, or material that violates applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Files are automatically deleted 30 days after upload. Deletion is permanent and may not be recoverable. Do not rely on Zog as the only copy of important data. Soft-deleted files and orphaned uploads may be purged earlier by cleanup jobs.

Sharing

Share links grant access to anyone who has the link until you revoke them or the underlying file is deleted. You are responsible for how you distribute those links.

Billing

Paid plans and add-ons are billed through our payment partners (Autumn / Stripe). Fees are generally prepaid for storage capacity as shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in reduced quota, over-quota restrictions, or account suspension after any applicable grace period.

Acceptable use

• No unauthorized access, scanning, or disruption of the service
• No abuse of rate limits, quotas, or share links
• No using Zog to distribute malware or illegal content
• No reselling the service except as we expressly allow

Availability

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages at providers, or force majeure may affect the service.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZOG AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. We may suspend or end the service or your access at any time. You may stop using Zog and delete your account at any time.
